1. (Vacancy No. 18102001527) Five Assistant Agricultural Marketing Adviser
(Group-I), Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation
and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
(OBC-01, UR-04). The posts are permanent. Pay Scale: Level-11 in the pay matrix as
per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ’A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministrial. Age: 40
years. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: (A) EDUCATIONAL: Masters Degree in
Agriculture including one or more disciplines i.e. Agricultural Economics or Agricultural
Marketing or Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation or Agricultural Extension
Education or Agricultural Statistics or Agricultural Communication or Agri-business or
Agricultural Engineering or Post Harvest Technology or Food Science Technology or
Food Processing or Post Harvest Management or Cold Chain Logistics or Horticulture
or Masters Degree with Botany or Economics or Commerce with Economics or Maths
or Statistics or Business Administration from a recognised University. (B)
EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience in the field of Agricultural Marketing including
Cooperative Marketing. NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the
Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to the recorded in writing, in the case of
candidates otherwise well qualified. DUTIES: (i) To assist AMA/Jt. AMA in all technical
work of the Directorate. (ii) To plan guide and supervise the work relating to various
schemes in the field of Agricultural Marketing. (iii) To render technical guidance in
scrutinizing processing and interpretation of data collected. HQ: Anywhere in India.
2. (Vacancy No. 18102002427) One Economic Officer, Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Department of Agriculture, Co-operation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (ST-01). The post is permanent. Pay Scale: Level-7 in the
pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ’B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministrial. Age:
35* years. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: Post graduate degree in
Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognised
University / Institute. NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public
Service Commission for reason to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well
qualified. DUTIES: To analyse and interpret Economic and Statistical data and to prepare
notes and memoranda thereon. HQ: Market Intelligence Unit Chennai with All India Service
liability.
3. (Vacancy No. 18102003427) Ten Assistant Director (Cost), Office of Chief
Adviser Cost, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance (SC-02, OBC-03,
UR-05). Of the ten posts, two posts are reserved and suitable for Physically
Challenged Persons viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral
Palsy with disability i.e. Both legs affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (Right
or Left) (OL) or One arm affected (Right or Left ) (OA) or One Leg and One Arm Affected
(OLA) or Both Leg and One Arm affected (BLOA) or Hearing Impairment with disability
i.e. Deaf (D) or Partially Deaf (PD). The posts are permanent. Pay Scale: Level-10 in
the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. Indian Cost Account Service, Group ‘A’. Age: 35 years.
QUALIFICATIONS:ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: A qualification recognized for
enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Clarification: Candidates are eligible
for enrolment in the register of Member of the respective Institute after they have
passed the Final examination of Chartered Accountancy or of Cost Accountancy
conducted by the respective Institute. NOTE-I: Qualifications are relaxable at the
discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reason to be recorded in writing
in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-II: Recruitment to the post of
Assistant Director (Cost) shall be made by direct recruitment on the basis of selection to
be made by the commission. DESIRABLE: (i) Degree from a recognized University. (ii)
Three years’ experience in Cost Accounting work. DUTIES: Cost Analysis / Cost
Examination Determining fair prices; Studies on cost reduction and cost efficiency;
Appraisal of capital intensive projects. HQ: New Delhi with all India service liability.
4. (Vacancy No. 18102004427) Five Senior Artist, Bureau of Outreach &
Communication erstwhile Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity,
Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (OBC-01, UR-04). Of the five posts, one
post is reserved and suitable for Physically Challenged Persons viz. Orthopaedically
Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy with disability i.e. Both legs
affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One arm
affected (Right or Left ) (OA) or One Leg and One Arm Affected (OLA). The post is also
suitable for Physically Challenged Persons viz. Hearing Impairment with disability i.e.
Deaf (D) or Partially Deaf (PD). The posts are permanent. Pay Scale: Level-7 in

Age: 30 years. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: (A) EDUCATIONAL:
Degree or Diploma in Fine Art or Commercial Art from a recognized University /
Institution or equivalent. (B) EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience of
Commercial Art in an advertising agency or a firm of standing or a Government
Organization OR three years’ experience in layout work in colour, black & white
including preparation of illustrations, designs, etc. for magazines, pamphlets,
folders, etc. NOTE-I: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UnionPublic Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-II:
The Qualification regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the
Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection, the Union
Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates
from those communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be
available to fill up the vacancy reserve for them. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of
Hindi. NOTE: The exaxct educational qualifications experience etc. shall be
specified according to requirement at the time of recruitment. DUTIES: To be
responsible for preparation of layouts and designs for various publicity campaigns,
press advertisements and assist Art Executives and Exhibition Officers for layouts
art work in colour, black & white including preparation of illustrations, designs, etc.
for magazines, pamphlets, folders, etc. HQ: New Delhi/ Bangalore/ Chennai.
