Job Description

About role

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing SEO & SMO, SMM and Digital Marketing strategies for StoryMirror. The correct person will be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This is a role that is interacting with content, marketing and technical teams and work closely with them to make sure that StoryMirror’s web ranking and Social Media analysis and numbers are achieved.

Key Management Areas of Responsibility

1. Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy 
2. Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy 
3. Communication to team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results 
4. Collaborate on content strategy and goal definition for success 
5. Keep pace with digital marketing, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development 
6. Contribution to the company blog and social media community

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

1. Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities 
2. Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages 
3. Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers) 
4. Develop and implement link building campaigns 
5. Develop, manage and execute communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with company’s goals 
6. Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) 
7. Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings 
8. Research and administer social media tools in support of company’s social media strategy 
9. Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies 
10. Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results 
11. Budget driven social and digital media campaigns. 
12. Help company generate revenues.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc) 
2. Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments 
3. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration 
4. High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
5. Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools 
6. Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources 
7. BS/BA degree required, candidates with diploma or degree in Digital Marketing will be preferred.
