Jumbotail is a top tier VC funded start up, building an online wholesale marketplace for food and grocery, targeted at wholesale buyers. Our vision is to organise the food and grocery ecosystem in India using technology, data science and design. We are building products, platforms and services for the next billion people of India, who have fundamentally different needs - access, language, selection, supply chain, financial, cultural, and the like. Our market potential is huge - in the order of hundreds of billions of dollars. We have a strong core team consisting of alumni from Stanford, CMU, IIT, BITS etc. having several years of industry experience in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Ebay, BCG, Housing, and Grofers. We are reimagining and reengineering the food and grocery ecosystem through intelligent technology, innovative business models, and intuitive design.

Job Description

We are looking for an Android Engineer who is passionate about pushing mobile technologies to the limits to build mobile applications for the next billion people of India, who have fundamentally different needs - access, language, selection, supply chain, financial, cultural, and the like. This engineer will be a member of our core team of engineers who are building marketplace platforms - mobile only customer & seller apps, brands platform, demand generation platform, supply chain & logistics platform, credit platform, from scratch.

As an early stage startup growing at fast pace, we are looking for leaders who have the hunger to work with some of the smartest people, and leave a legacy. The work we do will impact real lives, and has the potential to bring positive change to a billion people by fundamentally changing the face of the food and grocery ecosystem in India, leave a legacy in the country, and in the technology, e-commerce, and supply chain fraternity.
